Backed Chicken Nuggets


Today, I will post a recipe for backed chicken nuggets and they don't taste as the fast food' s version. This recipe is pretty easy to prepare,  but let's have a look at ingredients and instructions.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 persons






Ingredients

  • 450gr boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 medium), diced into pieces
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste Olive Oil Spray


Instructions

At first, preheat oven to 420 degrees. Spray a shallow baking dish with olive oil spray. Then, pour 1 Tbsp olive oil into a mixing bowl. Into another mixing bowl, stir together Italian seasoned crumbs, Panko bread crumbs, Then, add Parmesan cheese, pepper and salt. After that, place chicken pieces into oil and then toss chicken to coat. Drop olive oil coated chicken, into bread mixture and coat the sides. Place the coated chicken pieces into oil coated baking sheet and then sprinkle the remaining bread crumb mixture over chicken pieces. Then, spray
chicken pieces with olive oil spray. Bake in center of preheated oven for about 10 minutes and then turn chicken pieces to the opposite side and bake again for 5 minutes. Serve warm with ketchup, etc if desired
